Endurance: Hobbits have a subtle ruggedness which is akin to that of Dwarves and Orcs. When pushed, they can travel long distances over tough terrain, despite the fact that their normal routine require frequent meals and relaxation.

Resistances: as outlined above for magic, disease and poison. Hobbits hands and feet are nearly immune to heat and cold, accordingly they are almost always barefoot.

Special Abilities: None.

Weaknesses: None.

Starting Languages: Westron 8/8 and the choice of either Kuduk 8/- (original hobbit language, abandoned for Westron during the 14th century of the Third Age), Adûnaic 5/5 or Sindarin 5/5.

Additional language ranks: 3

Professions: Hobbits produce no Hybrid or Pure spell users. A few hobbits have learnt to use spells as Semi spell users, but these are invariably rare and always considered outsiders when their art is revealed.

Chance of learning a spell list: 0%

Other: Hobbits cannot properly use large weapons made for Men. They usually lack the strength for wielding a twohanded sword or a heavy crossbow (although light crossbows have been known to exist from time to time in hobbit societies). However mannish weapons may often be used as another category amongst hobbits, such as the daggers of Westernesse being used as shortswords by hobbits in the Lord of the Rings.
