Deported from northern Middle Earth to Ardor in the utter south during the Second Age, the Hathorians (Sons of Hathor) were a hardy group of lesser men. They excel in athletic skills and brawn, but spawn no magicians or Lore masters. The Hathorians are typically joyful, brave and handsome. They enjoy physcial activity, games and good wine.

Appearance: Hathorians have fair hair and skin, most are blonde (very unusual in Ardor), but the sun have given them a permanent tan. Eyes are blue or grey.

Endurance: Good, but they are not as hardy as the native Haradrim. They rely on oils and balms to protect their skin against the harsh sun. Hathorians however enjoy work as a sort of gleeful masochism.

Lifespan: 150 years (barring accidents and war, which are common).

Resistances: Normal.

Special Abilities: None.

Weaknesses: For mystical and unknown reasons all Hathorians fear the ocean. They do not travel overseas, but employ fisherboats and small vessels used within reach of the shore.

Starting Languages: Kiranaic 7/5 and Hathoric 8/- (which resembles Westron to some degree). Upper class learn either Adûnaic, Apysaic, Haradaic or Sindarin using their 5 additional language skill ranks.

Additional language ranks: 5 for upper class, none for the working class.

Professions: No restrictions, but spell users are extremely rare among the Hathorians.

Chance of learning a spell list: none.
